Our Purpose
At the heart of the Bolaven Plateau’s coffee sanctuary, the Cooperative of Sustainable Eco Coffee (CSEC) is committed to enhancing lives and the environment through the art of coffee. Our mission is to deliver exquisite, eco-friendly coffee while empowering the farmers who are the cornerstone of our existence. In pursuit of this mission, we ensure good working conditions for all workers, upholding the values of fairness and dignity. We are also steadfast in promoting gender equality, recognizing the vital role women play in the coffee industry.

2018
In September, our coffee farmers, averaging 30 years of experience, began <b>organizing as a group</b> to combine their deep knowledge with a shared vision for a better future.
2019
By May, our collective efforts flourished into the <b>establishment of the CSEC.</b> We embarked on a journey to produce coffee that not only tastes good but also does good. Practicing organic coffee growth, we cultivate our beans as “organic by default,” prioritizing the health of our environment as naturally as we nurture our crops.
2019
Our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices was recognized in November when we achieved <b>Fairtrade certification</b>. This milestone marked a new chapter in our history, allowing us to guarantee better prices and working conditions for our farmers.
